This is one of our favourite hotels in the city. An African hotel, in a city where most hotels still have colonial fantasies… It is centrally located, subdued and with the loveliest, most flexible staff. The music playing in the reception and the restaurant is always something that we as Africans connect with, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the rooms comfortable and stylishly simple with warm safari lodge touches. Most of the rooms have great views over the city. The walls are a little thin, and noisy neighbours can be a disturbance. No pool makes it less likely to be a choice for a summer vacation, but it is the perfect hotel for small groups on intensive programmes.
