The focus of this experience is the contemporary creative fabric of Nairobi, woven across fashion, food, art, design, and music.
The journey begins at the top of the KICC with an aerial view of the city. Your host will map the city spatially, introduce key historical moments that have shaped it, and point out parts of the city that will be visited during the programme.
Moving into the city, we focus on the art scene, visiting key galleries, artist studios, and street art zones. Then, the focus shifts to fashion and design, with visits to key outlets for a perspective on how Kenyan creators are shaping new industries.
We have lunch at one of our favorite eateries where the chefs are reimagining traditional dishes in contemporary ways, and finish the day with an intimate private concert by a local Nairobi artist in their home.
